Visit the New England Aquarium
Children and teens are sure to love the animals of this aquarium. If you have a child that loves animals, make sure you stop by here. You’ll see penguins, seals, sea lions, turtles, anaconda, and other species. This is a great Boston activity for families because it allows children to be closer to aquatic life and learn a bunch of interesting facts about them. If your child is learning about sea life in school, this is an excellent choice to further expand their knowledge.

Freedom Trail
To some, this is a necessary Boston travel destination. This 2.5 mile trail is perfect Boston activity for families to tour down. Walk along the trail and you’ll stumble upon many historical sites. These sites include the Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere House, USS Constitution, and other fantastic sites. Some sites along the trail may require admission. This may be a good first destination for the start of the day, especially if you’re looking to stop at any of the sites along the way.

Boston Common
The Boston Commons is a great park for your family. Since 1634, this location has been Boston’s oldest park. This destination is great because it’s a wonderful place for your family to relax during vacations. Soak up any nice weather as you sit with your family on a nice day. It’s a great place for a picnic or for a stroll. There are occasional events here, so keep a look out if you’re interested!

Museum of Science
This place is especially great if you have a family who marvels at science. They have many exhibits available, such as the Discovery Center. This exhibit is based for early learners to use tools to create experiments. If you’re hungry while you’re there, be sure to stop at the Riverview Cafe!

Franklin Park Zoo
Many kids love zoos! At Franklin Park Zoo, you and your family can witness animals like the African Lion or Grevy’s Zebra. Check out their website to know dates for special events and programs, as there are many available to choose from. Zoos are great for families because they provide lovable creatures and guides with tons of knowledge about their animals.

Boston’s Legoland Discovery Center
If your children love legos, they’re bound to enjoy this place. There are lego rides, lego build and play zones, a 4D cinema, and a gift shop. You can even experience Legos in VR as go through The Great LEGO Race. If you like this race, also try out the Kingdom Quest Ride where you zap sneaky enemies in order to save the Princess. The Legoland Discovery Center also has a lovely cafe for drinks, snacks, or meals your family may need.
